MEET YOUR INSTRUCTORS

Born and raised in San Antonio, TX, Brandon Stewart Sr., father of six who became a Certified USCCA Instructor in 2021 and DPS Certified Instructor in 2022. As a young man growing up on the East side, Brandon was exposed to a life of crime and violence from an early age. In October 2007, Brandon had a temporary lapse of judgment—being in possession of an unauthorized firearm he bought off a family friend. By the grace and mercy of God, Brandon was released with no charges and was able to avoid any blemishes to his record. Brandon realized from then on, he wanted to become a responsible citizen and gun-owner. He first sparked an interest in firearm safety in 2012 after taking an LTC course from a man named Robert, who later became his mentor. It was Robert who made Brandon truly realize the importance of becoming a responsible gun owner, understanding the law, and knowing your rights. He maintained a relationship with Robert in the years since taking the course, and the more Brandon studied, the more his passion for firearm safety grew. It was in 2017 when he first conveyed to his wife his aspirations for wanting to instruct others and share with as many people as he could the knowledge he had acquired on gun safety. “I feel like a lot of people who are new or current gun-owners need to be equipped with the knowledge and safety of self-defense”, says Brandon, owner of All My Sons Self-Defense, LLC. “They should take my class because they need someone to tell them the truth, someone to train them in the right way. This is my passion. In emphasizing safety and responsibility, this is my way of honoring God, who has given me these skills to share with others.”

Raised in Pleasanton, TX, Taylor Stewart grew up a small-town girl with a natural gift for sports and outdoor activities. She went on to attend Texas A&M University Corpus Christi as a basketball player-turned Nursing student. From there, she moved to San Antonio, married her [then] husband (who passed in 2015), and started her first job as a registered nurse.

After having her first-born shortly after the death of her late husband, she went on to complete graduate school to earn her MSN with a Family Nurse Practitioner certification from Walden University.  Amid everything that happened over the years, she gave her life over to the Lord and went on to become a faithful servant in the church, where she met her current husband, Brandon. The pair wed in 2017 and went on to have four more children. In the years to follow, she continued to work per diem as a Family Nurse Practitioner, while raising a family and homeschooling the children. Several years later, it was her husband who sparked her interest in becoming a firearms instructor. She joined the ranks of All My Sons Self Defense LLC alongside her husband as a USCCA Certified instructor in 2023 and has plans to become a Texas DPS instructor in the near future.
